General context of the project
INTERSOS is a humanitarian organisation founded in 1992, working on the frontlines of crisis situations. In its countries of operation, INTERSOS intervenes to assist the most vulnerable populations affected by conflicts, extreme poverty, natural and manmade disasters in challenging and hard-to-reach areas, where the humanitarian needs continue to be the greatest and where the humanitarian presence is often weak. In such contexts, INTERSOS focuses on providing forcibly displaced populations and host communities with life-saving humanitarian assistance, mainly in the areas of Protection, Health & Nutrition.
General purpose of the position
The role will involve creating multimedia content to raise awareness of the activities carried out by INTERSOS in the various countries around the world where it operates.
Main responsibilities and tasks:
- Support in creating content for social media and the INTERSOS website;
- Editing short videos for social media (reels) and ADV campaigns;
- Editing short videos for donors, partners and for external communication;
- Collect materials in coordination with the missions and the relevant staff;
- Elaborate graphics for external communication;
- Writing articles for the website.
Required profile and experience
Education
- Degree in communication
Professional Experience
- A previous stage or volunteering experience will be positively evaluate
Professional Requirements
- Good ability to use Canva or other graphics programmes
- Good ability to use video editing programmes
- Good ability to use Wordpress is considered an added value
- Good writing skills
- Must be enrolled in a university for the full duration of the internship
Languages
- Excellent knowledge of Italian and English
- Knowledge of French is considered an added value
