Il gemellaggio tra gli studenti del Liceo Scientifico Statale “Enrico Medi” di Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Messina) e gli studenti della Scuola Tecnica Don Bosco si è attivato in seguito alla proposta della Sig.ra Maria Cristina Ranuzzi (responsabile VIS, settore gemellaggi). Insieme con Don Nicola Ciarapica, Direttore del St.John Bosco Youth Centre di Onitsha, ci è sembrata una proposta interessante e così, anche se con un po' di ritardo, abbiamo programmato le attività per questo secondo gemellaggio.Gli studenti hanno già inviato (via email) le lettere di presentazione delle rispettive classi ed ora stanno elaborando temi sul “Diritto allo Studio e al Lavoro”.

Al termine dei lavori di scambio di lettere ed elaborati, sarà allestita una mostra del materiale prodotto dagli studenti

Also I have a brother but now he doesn't live with us because he attend a university in Turin; he's name is Fabio and he's 23 years old.

hello!!!my name is Francesca and I'm 16 years old. I come from Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto a small city on the sicilian coast. I attend the scientific highschool 'E. Medi', where I study 3 languages: Enghlish, French and German. My family is composed of 4 people...me, my mother, my father and my brother....I like travelling abroad and thanks to the school I attend I had the possibility to travel a lot....I went to Malta, London, Oxford, Dublin, Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Vienn, Bratislava, Paris, Strasbourg, Hamburg...we did also a summmer projet that allowed some students to work for 2 weeks in Wales....we visited the european parliament in Strasbourg where we were palamentar for a day....I have to say it was a fantastic experience.....like all the others!!!......I like listening to music chatting and surfing on the net....

Dear Professor Marchetti,
I am very happy to write you because in this occasion I can tell you some information about me.
I am 17 years old; I live in a small lovely village near the sea, Tonnarella, that is located in the north of the Sicilian coast.
I attend the Scientific Highschool " Enrico Medi" of Barcellona.
I study 3 foreign languages: English, French and German.
My favourite language is French.
Thanks to them, I always had the opportunity to travel a lot.
I visited Malta, Vienne, Bratislava, London, Oxford, Stratford, Dublin, Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Wales, Hamburg, Hannover, Berlin, Paris and Strasbourg. Here, I had the occasion to spend a great time at the European Parliament.
This opportunity has been given to me by the school, with the help of the English teacher Stefania Scredi, who organizes different projects for us students.
I love travelling. I would like to become a great interpreter and translator.
I am a nice, friendly, funny girl.
I love dancing. Dance is my life and in future I would like to realize my dream, that is, to become a famous dancer of the theatre.

Hello.. today, in this letter, we are going to talk about the field of working. It is a very important element of our life because in the future it will give us a lot of opportunities.
In the italian constitution, the first article is about working.
In sicily, jobs are not permanent, but temporary..
In fact, there are a lot of unemployes.
however, in my land, there are also natural resources which are not used in a great way.
instead, how is the situation , in your area??
tell me something.. see you.. kisses..hello... this is the continuation of the letter about the field of working.
So, I told you that I live in a village near the sea. Do you remember?
there are always foreign people who spend their holiday here!!
for this reason there is much tourism.
infact one of the most important things in my area is working in the touristic field.
so, it would be very useful if you spoke at least 3 languages;
first of all english, then german and finally french.
in this way, above all in summer, you could earn a lot of money.
in your village, what kind of possibilities, do you have in the field of working?

Hallo...I'm Anna..I would tell you about the job in Sicily....In our costitution the right of working is garantees...in the first article...but in Sicily there are a lot of unemployes...however smy town is near the see..and in summer a lot of tourists spend their holidays here..so as turism is concerned...there is a lot possibility..to find a job....

hallo...it's Francesca...I wanted to speak about the importance of the work....infact working today is really important because allows people to earn money to live....the work contribute also to the developpment of a state...if in a state people work, the economy will surely be better than a state in which peolple doesn't work (this could be caused by the lack of employment or because of the lack of resources and structures)....as far as my state, but in particular in sicily we have natural resources but there aren't the way to use them, because of the lack of the infrastructures.....so often young people have to left sicily to find an employment...
the first article of the italian constitution put in evidence the importance of the work, saying that it is based on work....
I think that we could contribute to better the situation....
what do you tink about work??...what about the situation in your land???

Working in Sicily???Hmmm a very serious problem…for us is difficult enough to find a work...joung people go to university, they study and they make a lot of projects for they future but all is useless...all disappear!For this reason they are obliged to go in others lands and find a disceet occupation...so several young people left their houses, their parents, their native land.
Working is a right!Our "Costitution" is based on this right and it protects the workers.
We should contribute to create more occupation...
