dai ragazzi dell'ISTITUTO PRIMO LEVI
Hello, everybody!
We are students from the class 3 S of the “Primo Levi” High School, in the north of Italy. We attend the course called ERICA in which we study foreign languages: English, French and Spanish, as well as Economy and the History of Art.
We would like to start a programme of cultural exchanges with your school to enable meeting with new people and to learn more about your country and your traditions as well as initiating Pen-Pals.
Talking about us we believe we are both friendly and fun, always ready to make new friends.
The class is composed of 20 people, 17 girls but only 3 boys.
We hope intensively that this information will be useful to you and that you will answer us as soon
as possible, we are really looking forward to getting to know you!
Hoping that this project will be a success, we send you our best wishes.

Hello, everybody!
We are students from the class 4 S of the “Primo Levi” High School . Our class is composed of 15 students, 12 female and 3 male. We would like to initiate the “twinning” between our two schools.
The possibility of this “twinning” , with your school ,has been opened by the VIS (http://www.volint.it/vis_files/node/67) We became aware of this when we submitted an entry in a competition sponsored by VIS and the Italian Ministry of Education.
During last February and March we took part in the contest ‘ Champions for South Africa’ , on occasion of the FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 in South Africa.
Our class was divided into five groups; during the first part of our group work we talked about the Republic of South Africa:, its geography, Nelson Mandela, apartheid, poverty, street children and the world cup event, preparing placards and PowerPoint presentations.
In the second part we discussed the Millennium Objectives and we drew up simulated EU Parliament resolutions for the problems of: education, famine, HIV virus that causes AIDS, female discrimination and infant mortality in South Africa, and we also studied possible solutions. Finally we sent our work to Rome, to the Italian Education Ministry .We then thought of making our contribution to a programme of cultural exchanges with your school to enable meeting with new people and to learn more about your country and your traditions through participation in the twin project with your school as well as initiating Pen-Pals .
Looking forward to your reply,
Our very best regards
